Pompoms!!!!

I love pompoms! They are one of the easiest crafts to make. I know that I had pompom bunnies a few posts ago and you probably learned the technique there but I wanted to give you some of my other ideas as to what you can do with pompoms! Anyway lets get started!

What you need:

Yarn, any yarn, thick, thin, fuzzy, or soft, whatever yarn you wish

Basic Supplies

Fabric Scissors (for cutting the yarn)

Thin cardboard, poster-board, cereal-box cardboard, whatever you have on hand,

If you choose to do some of the variations you may need other things

Level: 2       Time: 5 minutes per pompom

Lets make it!

Easter Bunnies

You will need:

Hot glue gun

Basic Supplies

Pink and white (or whatever your yarn color) felt scraps (for the nose and ears)

Poster board or cereal box cardboard

Medium weight yarn (in my example I used white)

Small black beads (for the eyes)

Level: 3    Time: 30 minutes

Is this really February???

Yeah, really is this February, I mean winter. It is crazy! 71 degrees last week, weird, right. Yep its really truly February and it is really truly not April.

My Little Women Skit

If you viewed the post Little Women Tea then you will know that this is the skit that I mentioned, I really hope you enjoy it.    everyone-is-gathered-around-the-piano-helen-and-nellie-together-and-jo-and-ruth-together-and-beth-sitting-at-the-piano P.S. I tried to capture each girls personality as I wrote the skit however the parts are not equal. Also for my party I had 7 guests (including myself) who would act. I didn’t want some guests to have to play Marmee  and the aunt so I made cousins who were visiting. The cousins are a bit wealthier then the 4 girls if that helps. If you only have 4 guests at your party you can transfer and delete lines, maybe in the future I could do that for you. Update* here is the new skit with only the 4 girls in it, it follows the same storyline little-women-skit-2  P.P.S. Here is a link to the Little Women Tea post Little Women Tea

I would love for you to send me pictures of your skit, and your costumes. Please fill out the info below and click Submit.

A winter wonderland

A winter wonderland for crafting yes! This month and the next are the perfect for winter crafting! Have a cup of cocoa and a cookie while you look at a craft book. Maybe you will learn how to knit or crochet or sew this winter. Since you can’t garden it is the perfect time learn to do any of these things! When spring comes you will have many fun things such as a gardening apron, cool headbands, a picnicking quilt and maybe even a skirt. Check out the book post on my blog for fun sewing and crochet books, I don’t know how to knit but the library has a ton of knitting books so you can see what is their.
