About

Hey there, I’m Hannah..

<more about me below>

  • Catholic Christian
  • psalm 27:13
  • entj (extroverted, intuitive, thinking, judging)
  • enneagram type 3
  • favorite emoji’s: πŸ’™πŸ˜πŸŒΌπŸ™ˆπŸ₯‘
  • photographer πŸ“·
  • favorite colors: burgundy, rose gold, dusty blue & mustard yellow
  • homeschooled HS freshman
  • music listener and player 🎧🎹

First and foremost, I am a believer of God. I serve a good God who sent His Son down from heaven to redeem the world. I also believe that God has given each person a gift, a talent and a dream. I want to help others figure out what that gift/talent/dream is and teach them how to live it out.

I’m an entj and an enneagram type 3. This means that I’m an extrovert (I love being around people) and I’m highly motivated, I love to set goals (and more importantly, achieve them πŸ˜‰ ) I don’t think that there is anything wrong with figuring out who God has created you to be, and I encourage you to do so for yourself!

I’ve always been a super creative person. While my creative interests have changed over the years, I’ve always enjoyed various forms of art. Currently I’m really enjoying photography, ATC making and music. In the past I’ve been into watercolor painting, sewing, doll making, collages, theater and paper crafting.

I’ve always loved the color blue, the different shades are all so pretty, and dusty blue is just the best. Other “favorite” colors are rose gold, mustard yellow and burgundy.

About The Blog

In the fall of 2016 I had just started a new online school program and was required to create a blog and upload a photo as part of a computer course I was taking. Once I started blogging, it just sort of clicked for me and I continued doing it. I remember dreaming of having followers and posting pretty pictures. I continued to blog, gaining little to no traction. Eventually I got my first real follower, and they kept coming. My content and photos improved and I continued to grow.

Almost 4 years later, here I am. It’s honestly just so crazy that I’ve been doing this for almost 4 years. Blogging is something that I really love doing, and hope to continue into my career life, and beyond.

Over the years, my content has switched a little, until I finally found my niche about a year ago. This blog started out as a craft blog (Crafts of all Seasons) where I posted craft tutorials and recipes. Now I consider this blog more of a lifestyle and encouragement blog for teenage girls.

<our mission statement>

The Striped Plaid exists to inspire, encourage and teach teenage girls how to live out their God-given dreams and purpose. We believe that God has given you a dream, and we want to show you how you can achieve that dream. God is the center of everything, and we strive to give all glory to Him.

I’d absolutely love hearing from you, just head over to my contact page to send me a message. πŸ™‚

    Hi Hannah! I read your Little Women blog post, and I think it’s great. I was just wondering what is a blog button, and how to get/make one? I would swap but I don’t know how. God bless!- Jo
