Dressing up a basic T-shirt +a few of my favorite tops + bonus photos // Fashion Look-book

Hey. Hi. Hello. I’m not sure if you knew, but I love fashion! It’s so fun, but sometimes I simply have no idea what to wear, and what will look right for this and that. That’s the fun part! Today I am going to show you some of my favorite outfits and styles and when I like to wear what!

Note: This isn’t a sponsored post or anything 😉 I just thought it would be fun to share some of my ideas!

Let’s start with the basics.

So first I like to start with a basic outfit, say a basic T-shirt (found at Walmart) You can pretty much wear this with anything, it can be dressed up or dressed down.

Blue shirt plain

I dressed the outfit up with a cute scarf (found at Charming Charlie) and a over the shoulder purse (found at Clare’s)

You could also were that same blue T-shirt with a cute polka dot shirt over it!

That’s just a basic example! Let’s look at some more ideas!

Ahem. Well, I got a little distracted while taking pictures and took some pictures of the clothing up close. And um, yeah there are a lot of “bonus photos” #sorrynotsorry

This is the scarf pictured above, I love it’s beautiful details!

This very cute ear warmer made out of recycled old sweaters.

Next up is a cute purse that I crocheted with a gorgeous flower!

Ahh, this is also pictured above. If I didn’t already mention above, I love this kimono, it is just so pretty!

This waffle knit sweater is also among my favorites pieces!

Here are some legging type pants, they are so comfy!

And last but totally not least, my sister has this gorgeous dress, I didn’t get a picture of the whole thing but as you can see from the details it is gorgeous!!a

Wait! Before you go….

I loved sharing my fashion thoughts/ideas with you, but also wanted to leave you with some thoughts:

  1. Make sure all your clothes are god-honoring and modest. I believe that there is not strict rule for modesty, just ask yourself, “Would I want God to see me wearing this?”
  2. A lot of the clothes featured above are from stores like Walmart/ thrift stores. I love getting a few T-shirts and such from a less expensive store, and then dressing them up with a few more expensive pieces!
  3. Make sure you are confident with your clothes! That is the most important thing, if you are confident than it doesn’t matter if your clothes are from Justice or Goodwill!

Thanks so much for reading! Also, thank you so much for all the positive thoughts on my new design! It means the world to me!

    1. Thank you! Yes, I like that one too! I do occasionally shop at Justice, but many of the clothes their are to small for me now! #tallgirl I also love shopping at Kohls, Gabe’s and JCpenny!

    2. You’re welcome! Awesome! Really? Cool! I have never been to Gabe’s. Have you shopped at Once Upon A Child? I have heard that their clothing is great. I think I am maybe a little over four feet tall.

    3. Yes, I have been to Once Upon A Child! There clothing is nice, and you get a lot of one of a kind options! I think I am about 5,2 but I probably won’t be growing too much more!
