I am changing my blog design!

Hello everyone! As you saw in the title I am changing my blog design! I am actually pretty much going to update everything to make it more professional looking and easier to use! I really like these blog designs: Rebecca Allison Rebekah

I want a lot of watercolor to be incorporated in it, and I am also hoping to get a button, custom header, and some graphic’s.

The blog design will be completed September 30 2017.

I will still be posting the same and doing everything the same, just a different design~!

Outdoor photoshoot with Grace!

Hello everyone! Today I decided to take a photoshoot with Grace! I think it turned out pretty cool!

Adjustments and ideas!

Hello everyone! I have some news! (don’t think it is bad, because its not)

As the new school year begins I won’t be able to post as much on here!

I am trying to make better quality longer posts anyway and have decided on a new posting schedule:

Monday: New craft series (see below)

Tuesday: Nothing

Wednesday: Photography or tag/award

Thursday: Nothing

Friday: Random post/ AG post

Now, for the big news:

I am starting a craft series!

It will be much like my weekly crafts (and I will still keep my Crafts page up)

Here is how it works:

  • I will pick a theme every 6 weeks (for example Christmas)
  • Each week on Monday I will post a new craft in the theme.
  • At the end of 6 weeks there will be 6 crafts in that theme!

I will begin the craft series next week (July 14)

The theme for this 6 weeks is Artist Trading cards!

We will explore fun techniques for making these fun 2 1/2 by 3 1/2 beauties

I really hope you enjoy the new schedule and the craft series!

P.S. I am working on a sign-off (watch out for it)

Washington D.C.

Hello everyone! I will be in Washington D.C. for the week! I am very excited! (and yes I know I just got back from camp)

We are going to a lot of museums and the zoo a couple of times I think. (I really hope I get to see the aquarium!)

We will also get to see the American History Museum! I am very excited to see that because I LOVE history!

The national Air and Space Museum sounds like a lot of fun! My dad said that they have a real rocket in there!

We also hope that we get to see where the government makes money! I think that will be a lot of fun if we get to go!

Anyway………………… I have a few scheduled posts for when I am gone, and I will still check comments when I can. I will look at your blogs as well whenever I can!

I will miss you! I leave early tomorrow morning!

I will have a photography post on Tuesday and an AG post on Thursday, but that will be it for this week!

I will check the comments though, but you might get a later reply then usual.

Sunday (possibly next Monday) I will have pictures!

Well bye for now and have a good week!

  • Black Sharpie
  • Pencil
  • Clay pot (any size that you like)
Lets make it!
  1. Wash and dry your pot if it is dirty! Let dry and sit in the sun for a while.
  2. Draw your designs on the pot with a pencil.IMG_2353
  3. Trace your design again with the black marker.

Ta-da! What a cute pot you have, wouldn’t a cactus look good in it?IMG_2354

Cream cheese truffles (yum)

(I got this recipe from All Recipes.com,  I personalized it a little bit and added mint to it)

The ingredients for success….

  • 2 1/2 cups of milk, semisweet, or dark (or a mix) of chocolate chips
  • 1 8-oz pack of cream cheese (softened if you remember)
  • 3 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon mint or vanilla extract
  • Toppings! (cocoa powder, powdered sugar, candy sprinkles, chopped nuts)

Lets make it!

  1.   Begin by melting the chocolate. I used the microwave. Just put the chocolate in a glass bowl and heat it at full power for 15 second intervals, stirring occasionally.
  2. While the chocolate is melting bead the cream cheese until soft, light and fluffy. Add the powdered sugar a little at a time until there is none left and everything is well blended.
  3. Add the melted chocolate to the cream cheese mixture. Beat until the mixture is well combined. Then stick the bowl in the freezer for 5 minutes.
  4. When 5 minutes is up begin to roll the mixture into balls then roll them in the toppings.

Also, sorry there is no pics! There will be soon!

Enjoy! And tell me how this recipe turned out in the comments!
