So, I changed my url..

Hey guys! So I finally decided to do it. I changed my url to thestripedplaid.wordpress.com I plan on removing the .wordpress.com part soon.

So why did I do it?

Well crafts of all seasons, it just doesn’t fit this blog anymore. It doesn’t fit my brand. I want my brand to be about embracing what makes us unique, celebrating uniqueness. Crafts of all Seasons wasn’t about that. It was about diy tutorials.

Sometimes we think that holding on to something will make everything “work” but it doesn’t. Actually it only makes things worse. That’s what I was doing. I was holding onto that name, because I didn’t want to let it go. I didn’t want to change anything, I was comfortable.

But then I realized that the longer I held on the harder it would be to let go.

I’m so excited to see what this has to hold. I’m excited to start SP Box, SP Apparel, and continue growing SP Home. #spoileralert

Also, don’t worry I’m still going to continue blogging, and doing everything just like I was. I just changed the name to make everything flow better and more cohesive. šŸ˜‰

  1. I totally get it. And The Striped Plaid is a really cute name! Yesterday, I was trying to think of a name for my lifestyle blog. The name doesn’t fit my blog and it’s a really long title!

  2. It’s totally kewl to switch it up now and again. Loving the new change! Sometimes after we transition from kids to teens, like I did, our niche really starts to blossom, so we have to throw out our old life and kind of come into the new.
