Hello everyone!! Welcome back to another Art Lab post! Today I’ll be showing you a quick and super easy technique on drawing Mandala’s. I’ve always found it hard to draw fine detail flowers and such, but I love how this technique is super easy and the results are always great!
I’m using a Millennium pen, found at Hobby Lobby for this, but any fine tip pen will work.
They work great and come in a bunch of colors and sizes!
Now for the technique! π
Start by drawing a few circles one on top of another on an ATC, piece of paper, or sketchbook paper.
Don’t try to make them perfect, that is the beauty of this technique. π
Next draw in some little half circles, staying in the lines.
Keep doing drawing circles and filling them in, to create a gorgeous technique. It somehow reminds me of medieval times or something. π XD
Here is an ATC I made using this technique! I did a watercolor background before I started. π
Kinda neat isn’t it!
I hope you enjoyed this technique and make sure to check back next weekend for another fun and artsy post! π
Also, sorry this post is on Sunday rather than on Friday like it was supposed to have been.
Have a wonderful weekend!
I love drawing mandalas so I’ll definitely be trying this.
