Happy dads day to all of the wonderful dads out there!!!
So I have to admit that I am a last-minute idea person when it comes to gifts sometimes, I was thinking about a gift Thursday but unfortunately I didn’t get around to buying the stuff to make the gift I wanted! So another idea! I was going through some stuff today and I found that we had a stash of notebooks lying around, “Perfect!!” I thought. I found some neat paper, and some coordinating ribbon and set to work.
Well below is my outcome! I hope you like it!
You will need:
Some neat but manly paper
A spiral bound notebook (mine measures 10 1/2″ by 8 1/2″)
Embellishments, (I used some coordinating ribbon)
Skill level: 1
Time to make: 10 minutes
Lets make it!
- Cut your paper. If you notebook measures the same as mine you need to cut a 9 1/2″ by 7 1/2 inch rectangle. (basically you just subtract an inch from both sides)
- Embellish your paper! I used a glue stick and tape to stick on ribbon! (note: I only decorated the front of my notebook.)
- Glue the paper to the front and back of the note book. Be sure to center it!
- Let dry and you have a neat gift for dad!
