July 4th 2019 {Fireworks + Sparklers}

Hey guys! Wow, these past few weeks have kind of been weird and busy. I’ve been creating a bunch of mediocre posts, out of lack of inspiration, and time. XD Anyway, I’m really hoping to start putting more effort into posting consistently and enjoying writing content. And I’m beginning to work on a super special surprise project, that I’m hoping to release in a few months! For now I hope you’ll enjoy some fireworks, sparklers and a little photoshoot!

// Sparklers //

I’m soooooo excited to show you guys these photos! I absolutely love how they turned out, and they might be some of my favorite photos I’ve ever taken…? Also, I edited most of these a little bit, but a few were already so pretty that I didn’t touch them. I’ll let you know which ones. 🙂

Guyyss, isn’t this just so pretty!? I love how I didn’t edit this one whatsoever!
This is another really pretty one, but I did edit the background a little bit.
Every year some family friends host this huge 4th of July party. It’s always such a fun time!
So pretty, another one I didn’t edit!

I also love this photo. If you’re wondering the little stick thing off to the side is an already burnt sparkler. XD

// Fireworks //

The fireworks this year were absolutely amazing! When you’re so close the whole thing is just way more incredible!

I absolutely love how this (and the next one) turned out! ❤
Is it just me, or does this look a little like a heart?

// Random //

My sister (who has a blog here) and I are kind of obsessed with finding new places to do photoshoots together and we found a few places that we absolutely loved.

The first place was this old barn wall. It was all chipped and neat, and then there was also a bunch of stacked wood. I loved the unexpected, uniqueness of it.

The next “location” was this old red tractor. It was definitely a fun photo backdrop, and it’s actually where I took my new profile picture.

The final location is in this barn there was this random sink and mirror, and we (my sister and I) decided to grab a little mirror picture while we were there. XD

Yep, I’m older, and yep, I can’t deny that she’s taller than me now. lol

I must say that I think my photography skills have greatly improved since last year (last years post here) I’ll probably say that next year though too. XD

Have a great week guys!

💙 Hannah

  1. Oof, I love these so much! The sparklers are so pretty, the photos came out so well! Great job! I love the backgrounds you and your sis used for the photoshoot. And btw, it seems to be a common thing for the 2nd oldest sibling to be taller than the oldest.

    1. Aww, thank you Jo! Honestly, the first few pictures I took were horrible, but I just kept messing with the settings until I found something that worked, then I just went with that. 😉

    1. Hey Mckenzie! I’d say try to post consistently, write content that is worthwhile, and include pictures. Making sure you have a clean design is super important as well! 😉
