Hey guys! I haven’t done one of these “life update” type posts in a while, and since I think they’re so fun to read (and write) I’m sharing this one with you guys today.
Growing:
We don’t have much of a garden this year, but I love the small one that we do. Don’t you just love how aesthetic and clean green is!?
I absolutely love the bokeh on these next few pictures, don’t you?
And of course, my favorites, the roses:
Interesting story: Last year our rose bush got this disease or something, and so early this spring my mom cut them back. We thought it was completely dead. But then, we started seeing small green traces, and now there are big, beautiful roses again.
Reading:
I’m really trying to get back to reading more this summer, because I hardly read anything this spring *coughs*
While we were on vacation I read many of the Oh Beloved One magazines. They are just so amazing! I’m considering getting a physical copy of the current one + the little goodie bundle. 🙂
And of course I’ve been reading the new Magnolia Journal. It’s just got so many aesthetic photos in it.
Since I really haven’t been reading much, I thought I’d share my tbr list:

Making:
I know I mentioned how I was going to make a an ATC and photo wall this summer, and I’ve already started on it. It’s going to be a ton more work than I originally imagined, so I’m glad I started early.
It is very fun to be making ATC’s again, before this I hadn’t made them in such a long time.
Wearing:
I’ve bought a few clothing items recently, (especially after discovering Altar’d State) I think I’m finally learning how to style summer fashion, because I’m super obsessed with fall and winter.
What have you guys been doing this summer so far? Also just a little fyi, I’ll be leaving for camp this week (Sunday), and I do have scheduled posts / emails going out, but I won’t be responding to comments or emails until Friday.

Looks like your summer is off to a great start! Lovely photos! I haven’t been up much this summer, working a lot in the garden, drawing, writing poetry and doing my schoolwork.
