Hey Guys! It’s been a looong time since my last Recent Happenings post + I had a lot of things/updates/photos and such to share, so here we are today!

{New Collection Update}

YAY! I’m so excited to announce this! It’s going to be finished the last week of this month (October). Today the first 5 products in the collection are coming out – and I’m so excited about this!

Can you guys believe that Christmas is only 67 days away? I’m almost starting to believe it, because to take pictures of the ornaments for my shop I had to get our artificial tree down yesterday. XD It was a lot of work but I like how the pictures turned out! 😀

Also, every Friday for the next few weeks there will be new products coming out – so be on the look out for that!

-Life Updates-

So I guess I owe you guys an update on life lately. So first, last month a very close friend of my family’s passed away, then almost exactly a month later, my grandma passed away. This kind of explains my irregular posting schedule back in September.

Well anyway that was sad. Let’s move onto something more happy! 😉

-Favorite Songs Recently-

Recently I’ve been using music as rewards for getting school done. (after every subject I  listen to 1 song or something like that) And it’s actually working. XD

LOTS of great new Christian music has come out this month, including a new album from TobyMac and a new album from Lauren Daigle (that came out last month, but anyway) and a new album from King and Country. Which is exciting because those are some of my favorite artists.

-More Blogging Updates-

So I’ve been thinking about something a lot recently, especially this past week. This entire month of October I’ve had a schedule. Basically for everything in my life there’s a schedule. And I have a love hate relationship with schedules. The pro: they make me get things done. The con: When I have such a strict schedule I don’t have time to do anything fun.

The other day I realized something: This blog is turning into work. It isn’t what it used to be. I don’t know what happened. I guess somewhere along the way I just took schedules too far and burnt myself out – and as much as  I hate to admit it – that’s exactly what’s happened.

But I’m not leaving. I love this blog too much to leave. way way way too much. Instead I’m just changing it. I’m posting for me – I’m blogging for my enjoyment, and if you like it to then great – let’s be friends. And if you don’t then we’re still friends, even if you don’t hang around here. Instead of worrying about stats and followers  – stuff like that, I’m just worrying about me – represent my life on this blog.

I know, I’m such an indecisive person. (thanks for sticking with me)

What I now hope to accomplish through this blog is not having millions of followers and hundreds of likes and comments etc. Simply, I just want to invite you into my life and if you want to stay then great, if not, that’s fine too.

So what will you be seeing now?

More fun posts. More lifestyle posts. I really really love posting outfit ideas, travel things, photography. I personally really don’t like posting about how my blogging process, or 10 tips on how to live the best life ever. Strangely I like reading this posts, but I don’t like creating them myself. Weird, yeah I know.

So I’m going to try to post 1-2 times a week or so. I want to post more fall outfit ideas and photoshoots. And just what I’ve been up to.

As for my email list – don’t worry, I’m still keeping it. It’s just not going to be so professional and business like. It’s going to be more messy and everywhere and kind of just like me I guess. –no, it’s not going to be a jumbled mess. i promise– But it will have more pictures, travel journals, stuff like that. And yes, there will still be new emails every Monday. And yes, I’ll still be sending you those freebies like i promised.

Also, I think I’ve decided that the light pink is to girly. I don’t really like it. So, as you probably just figured out, I’m going to be changing it yet again. XD Eventually. 😛

I now realize that this is getting wayyy to long and that I could’ve just made this an entire post. Anyway.

So yeah. That’s hopefully my plan. I just want this blog to be more me, and right now it’s just not really me. I want to be excited and energized when I post, not slacking just to hopefully keep views up. Anyway, I’ve said enough. Let’s get going.

Well this was sort of a long post. So anyway, I’m actually really exciting and motivated to create content that I really love creating! Well, that’s all for today. Bye guys!

  1. I’m so sorry to hear your grandma passed away last month! But I am glad you’re getting products ready for your shop and you’ve decided not to let blogging be a chore. Life before blogging, right? 🙂 Loved this!

Also I TOTALLY understand you about blogging – that's the way it is for me too, and that's why I've started posting just once a week instead of more often.     8. did you see the pic of my baby sis i took if you say cheese she goes cheeeeeeeee! its so cute i figured it out and i did have error three times thats not the only 1 i have more i just havent put thelm on yet!

    6. Currently I’m just doing blogging for fun and as a hobby, so my main focus right now is growing my business and writing my book. I am trying to publish new content often, and am working on both an email and a post right now! 😀
