Textures, Colors and Design // A Photoshoot

**Update: Please view this post on my actual site instead of in the Reader. For some reason the pictures/formatting isn’t showing up correctly.**

Hey. Hi. Hello. It’s been a while since I’ve done a photography post, and with a new sewing series coming up on my blog, I thought it would be best to just do a more simple post and have you all look at some interesting textures/designs!Β I’ll post the pictures (grouped in 3 categories: texture, color and design) then tell you a little about them, and what I like about them!

Let’s start with this elegant headband! I absolutely love this, it is so pretty. My mom bought it at Clare’s a few years ago, and all the girls in our family love it!

A few more up-close details.

Next up there is this cute beaded box that I received for Christmas a few years ago. I love to store my jewelry in, it is so pretty!

I love this! It is so soft!

Sorry for the brightness. XD This is the buckle on a purse of mine!

Oh, I just love this necklace! It is just so pretty and has one of my favorite sayings on it!

That’s about it for texture! Make sure to keep reading, because there is a lot of pictures in the next category!

Β -Color-
Color is one of my favorite things! Therefore I took a lot of photos for this category!
This scarf has some super vibrant colors! Don’t you think it looks summer-like?

For some reason I think the above pictures look so rich and pretty!

The color contrast on this is so pretty! πŸ™‚

Another somewhat bright picture! That is embroidery! Isn’t it pretty!

This picture is so bright and fresh!Β (I made something really cute with it, I can’t tell you what yet, but check back on Thursday to find out + a tutorial)Β  Yeah, I’m great at surprises ❀

I love the colors and the pattern it this!

And that just about wraps up Colors!

A few of my favorite designs and such!

This doesn’t have any color in it (XD) but I love the design! It reminds me of winter though……and we don’t need to go into more details about winter……………because then I might regret that I’m not in Florida right now……………anyway………….. πŸ˜‰

These are my little sisters ballet slippers, aren’t they cute? I love it when she dances in them!

The stitching on the back of the slippers…..

This is the outside stitching on a cute shell collecting/crafts bag that I made last summer! It is supposed to look sailor-ish.

More stitching…

The handles.

Isn’t this miniature cute? I love the old-ness of it, it is so picturesque!

Last but totally not least is a cute (not totally in focus) picture of that necklace that I was talking about earlier!

Hmm, well I hope you enjoyed looking at these! For some reason it is satisfying sharing my photography with others, does anyone else feel that way? As I dropped hints about all throughout this post, I’m starting a Decorator weight cotton fabric series on Thursday, so be sure to check back for it!
Also, right now it is snowing, again. 😦  I find it funny that people look forward to snow in November but are wishing for it to end in March. Or how 50 degrees seems so warm in March, yet so cold in October/November. XD
Well, you’ve probably heard enough now, so signing off
blue flower sign off

  1. I love them! The picture with your necklace on your fabric is SO PRETTY!!!! What confused me the most is that the last few pictures are so tiny. And the writing got confusing too. It looked like this:
    These pics
    so pretty!
    I would
    to see more!

Except it was in the middle of the screen. Sorry if I made confusion! I just wanted to let you know. Also, if you emailed me, I didn’t get it yet. Have a great day!

    1. Hmm, that is weird. On my computer it looks fine on my actual site, but the formatting and the pictures are all weird in the Reader. Thanks for telling me, and no you didn’t cause any confusion or trouble! πŸ™‚
