Hello everyone! I will be in Washington D.C. for the week! I am very excited! (and yes I know I just got back from camp)

We are going to a lot of museums and the zoo a couple of times I think. (I really hope I get to see the aquarium!)

We will also get to see the American History Museum! I am very excited to see that because I LOVE history!

The national Air and Space Museum sounds like a lot of fun! My dad said that they have a real rocket in there!

We also hope that we get to see where the government makes money! I think that will be a lot of fun if we get to go!

Anyway………………… I have a few scheduled posts for when I am gone, and I will still check comments when I can. I will look at your blogs as well whenever I can!

I will miss you! I leave early tomorrow morning!

Historical AG dolls at the Library??

Hello everyone! As you know this is a scheduled post and I am at camp!

So, the other day, I was at the library (We don’t often go their, we have a bookmobile that comes to our town) I immediately noticed some AG dolls on the top of a bookshelf. They were so cool! They had a lot of retired ones! I asked the librarian if I could take pictures of the dolls and she said yes! Hooray! Here are the pics: (sorry for the kind of bad quality of the photo’s, the bookshelf was higher then my head so it was sort of hard to take pics)

I read the sign and it says that people donated them to the library for their display!

Horse Camp!

Egyptian Designs Clay Pot!

Hello everyone! Today I decided to share with you an idea I had a few days ago that I put into existence!

I love this pot and I think it looks quite interesting and ancient!

you will need:

Black Sharpie
Pencil
Clay pot (any size that you like)

Lets make it!

Wash and dry your pot if it is dirty! Let dry and sit in the sun for a while.
Draw your designs on the pot with a pencil.
Trace your design again with the black marker.

Ta-da! What a cute pot you have, wouldn’t a cactus look good in it?

Hello everyone! I have been doing “garden photography” a lot these past few weeks so I decided to change it up a little!

This week I took pictures of random numbers that I found around our house and yard.
I must tell you that it was a blast! I hope you enjoy! Each is different and fun~!

Also, I was wondering if any other people are doing Haley’s ATC Trade I am and tomorrow is the last day to send your pics in! It sounds like a lot of fun to me!

Cream cheese truffles (yum)

(I got this recipe from All Recipes.com, I personalized it a little bit and added mint to it)

The ingredients for success….

2 1/2 cups of milk, semisweet, or dark (or a mix) of chocolate chips
1 8-oz pack of cream cheese (softened if you remember)
3 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon mint or vanilla extract
Toppings! (cocoa powder, powdered sugar, candy sprinkles, chopped nuts)

Lets make it!

Begin by melting the chocolate. I used the microwave. Just put the chocolate in a glass bowl and heat it at full power for 15 second intervals, stirring occasionally.
While the chocolate is melting bead the cream cheese until soft, light and fluffy. Add the powdered sugar a little at a time until there is none left and everything is well blended.
Add the melted chocolate to the cream cheese mixture. Beat until the mixture is well combined. Then stick the bowl in the freezer for 5 minutes.
When 5 minutes is up begin to roll the mixture into balls then roll them in the toppings.
