-We Have Been Made Ready-

One of my all time most inspiring people is Joanna Gaines. She is literally a total role model for me. This (last) season for her magazine the theme was being ‘made ready’ I really took this whole idea of being made ready for everything that life throws at you to a little bit of a deeper level. It’s something that I’ve really been thinking about lately and I decided to share it with you guys today! 🙂

So when we think of being made ready (or for me at least) I often think of training – such as boot camp, or even school. But really when we dig a little deeper, I think it’s more about realizing that have been made ready for the moment at hand, but we are also at the same time being made ready for a moment somewhere in our future.

Remember the post I did a while ago about how God has our fate all figured out and how if we planned out our own fate and destiny, that it would be nowhere near as good as God’s?

Since I wrote that post, I’ve realized even more how important it is to trust God with our life and to trust that His plans are so much better than ours.

God doesn’t promise that His plan for our lives will be easy. But he does promise that we can make it through. That He has made us ready for whatever He may throw at us.

Often we are told to trust God and that things will turn out the way that we want them to. This simply isn’t true.

However, we do have the hope and trust that God will get us through. That He will make us ready, and also that He has made us ready for this moment, right now.

I hope you will learn to trust in our amazing and great God, who is making us ready, and also has made us ready.

Have a wonderful day guys!

  1. Wonderful reminder, Hannah! I don’t think it’s true that God doesn’t give us more than we can handle – I think he gives us too much for us to handle on our own, to teach us how much we need his help. And then he gives it to us, with overflowing love. ❤

    1. Hmm, well I’ve sort of put it on hold while I work on my business, but I’m hoping to finish it by next summer, and hopefully publish it sometime in 2020.
