Happy Mother’s Day! {A Letter To Every Mom}

Hello everyone! I know I just posted yesterday, but today is a special day, and thus it deserves a special post! Ahem, so if you’re a mom, Happy Mother’s day, if you are not a mom (or even if you are) make sure to wish your mom a Happy Mother’s day today!

Dear Mother’s everywhere,

From the start you loved us, unconditionally. You went through pain to give us a gift, the gift of life.

Hundreds of stars in the pretty sky,
Hundreds of shells on the shore together,
Hundreds of birds that go singing by,
Hundreds of lambs in the sunny weather,
Hundreds of dewdrops to greet the dawn,
Hundreds of bees in the purple clover,
Hundreds of butterflies on the lawn,

But only one mother the world-wide over.

You’ve always wanted the best for us. Especially when we didn’t think it was best.

You’ve been there through it all, the laughs, the tears, the joys, the cries.

You are truly selfless, you give up your body, and your life for us.

And we just want to say thanks, thanks for everything. Even though we might all get angry, and say things we don’t mean. In truth we know we could never hate our mother, it just isn’t humanly possible.

The sacrifices you make in a single day for us, count to the drops in the ocean.

And we just wanna say,

THANK YOU!

For everything!

Also, I just wanted to say thank you to my brother (who is 10) for being a wonderful photography assistant while I was taking these pictures today! 🙂 He even took the pictures of me throughout this post!

One more quick thing, what do you guys think of my new profile picture? I really liked the other one, but I was looking at my profile the other day and saw that it was really pixellated, since then I’ve been trying to find another one. I think I like it, but would really like to know your opinion!
