Hello everyone! Welcome to the last day of the year! Wow, I really can’t believe that 2018 is just hours away. Today I wanted to share some of my favorite memories from 2017 and also some goals/ new year resolutions for 2018.

So first I’ve got a quick question, what do you think of my new design? Honest opinions.

 

I finally (after much trial and error) figured out how to use Photoshop a little and made some graphics. I also figured out how to upload a custom font to it as well.

It pretty much took me all of Saturday morning to finish.

And to finish up our review of 2017 I thought I’d share some of my favorite memories from 2017:

  • Lots and lots of baking and fun!
  • Tons of time this summer spent at a fun campground!
  • Fun game nights with friends and joining a hospitality program at our church!
  • Singing in our churches choir.
  • Our trip to Washington D.C.
  • Going to horse camp for the first time!
  • Starting my new Etsy Shop!
  • Redesigning my blog a ton! (how do you guys put up with me)
  • Gaining 100 followers (wow and wow)

I also wanted to share some goals/ New Year’s resolutions for 2018!

Take a photo every day. Of anything. As long as its a photo it counts. Period.

Start The Striped Plaid or whatever its name is gonna be. (you will eventually know, but it may be a long wait)

Gain 250 followers!

Write in my bullet journal every day. I’ve been kind of falling off the wagon, some nights I remember some I just don’t.

Be more organized.

Keep my room/craft area clean! (I just redid my room and I’m so excited to show you! Its almost finished!)

Drink more water.

Exercise more. Yeah, sometimes it feels like I just sit inside all day, either staring at a screen or making stuff in my room.

Go outside every day. This relates to the last point.

Work my hardest at school.

There’s a few more, but this post would take forever to write if I listed them all. XD

  6. Wow, it’s awesome you learned to use Photoshop! If you’re following Design Pique, you may see some tutorials from time to time to help you out!

    2017 was an awesome year for me, and I can hardly believe it’s 2018 already. 😵

  12. Those goals sound like a lot of fun. I loved all of your beautiful photography, you are so talented! I’m like you, I need to get outside more, hahaha! But here, it’s hard because we’re under like 2 1/2 feet of snow! Haha! Happy New Year!
