Christmas Photoshoot & My Favorite Christmas Music

Hey guys! Ahhh, who else hasn’t stopped listening to all the good Christmas music that’s been releasing? πŸŽ„ (and of course all the old classics too πŸ˜‰ ) In today’s post I’m super excited to be sharing some of my personal favorites along with some Christmasy photos! πŸ˜€

Little Drummer Boy – For King And Country

I’m not gonna lie, this might be my favorite version of The Little Drummer Boy. Ahh, honestly seeing them live is worth it for just this song alone! I think that with all the drums (and drummers) in their band, they can really make this song a hit!

Sleigh Ride – Pentatonix

Ok, so this was one of the first versions of sleigh ride being sung that I’d heard. This version ruined every other version for me. Ahhh, this song is so good! I wish they had a music video for it, because it’d be fun to see them sing it! πŸ˜€

The Christmas Song – Michael BublΓ©

Ahh, Michael BublΓ© sings this song so well! This is actually one of my favorite Christmas songs, I love the cozy, traditional feel that it brings!

Make Room – Casting Crowns

This might be my favorite new release this Christmas season. It really expresses the true meaning of Christmas, “Is there room in your heart? For God to write His story. You can come as you are, but it may set you apart. When you make room in your heart, and trade your dreams for His glory. Make room in your heart.” Ahh, isn’t that just so beautiful?

O Come, O Come, Emanuel – The Piano Guys

Oh my goodness, guys, this is an instrumental version, but it has so much feeling and motion in it. Ahh, this is just so lovely!

Bring On The Holidays – TobyMac

This is a fun, sweet Christmas song – and the music video is super fun! Heh. Heh. Watch it and you’ll see what I mean! ^^^

Mary, Did Your Know? – Pentatonix

Guys, I really love this song. It’s such an interesting thought, because I wonder, what would Mary be thinking? Did she know that Jesus was God? I mean she saw an angel so she must’ve known something was up. I really wonder though – it’s such a neat thought and this song captures it perfectly!

The First Christmas – Riley Clemmons

I like the idea she had while writing this song, it’s definitely got some pop song feels while incorporating classic Christmas music in it.

Christmas Everyday – Unspoken

Again this is a song with some meaning behind it. It’s about how we so often do good things and charitable deeds around Christmas, and around Christmas only. Instead of just doing these things at Christmas, what if we strove to do these things year-round?

White Christmas – Lauren Daigle

Ahh, another one of my favorite classics! With the addition of Lauren’s unique twist on music with her voice, and the instruments from her music group, it really makes this song something special!

Run Rudolph Run – Chuck Berry

Haha, this is such a fun song! I heard it on the radio the other day, and instantly knew I had to include it! πŸ˜€

You Gotta Get Up – Rich Mullins

Ok, so I know you probably haven’t heard this song, but it’s a fun & sweet little song. “Did my sister get that baby doll? Did my brother get his bike? Did I get that red wagon, the kind that makes you fly?…. And you gotta get up, you gotta get up, you gotta get up, it’s Christmas morning.”

White Winter Hymnal – Pentatonix

Yep, this is the third Pentatonix song I’ve included in this post. Heh. Heh. Guys, I can’t help myself, they’re just so good! πŸ˜€ This song is super lovely, and ahh, just so wonderful!

Carol of the Bells – Orchestral Version

This last song – Carol of the Bells is so peaceful to listen to. I love listening to this one, it’s just so pleasant and relaxing. Enjoy!

I hope you guys enjoyed listening to those, and I’d love to know, what are some of your favorite Christmas songs? what are you most excited for this Christmas?

  1. Ooh these are some great songs-and there are some I haven’t heard of, so I’ll definitely have to check them out! Mary Did You Know is pretty stuck in my head now; I was part of a small choir group that performed the Pentatonix version (fun, but slightly confusing to learn hahaha). Great photos!
