Pear Blossoms {Spring Photography}

Hey guys! Wow, it’s been forever since my last photography post! I’ve been doing an insane amount of photography this spring, I’ve done a birthday party, some photoshoots for my sister and of course – my favorite – nature photography! My neighbors have the most GORGEOUS pear trees ever! Currently they are blooming everywhere with the prettiest flowers! I narrowed down about 30 of my favorites for your browsing enjoyment.

The blur in this one makes it beautiful! ā¤ā¤
Eeep, I love this one!

What do you guys think? I love how they turned out! If you’re wondering, I did edit these a little to make the lighting brighter. If you’d like to see how I edit my photos, check out my tutorial here.

  1. Beautiful pictures, Hannah! I can’t wait until things start blooming in my backyard, but it’ll still be a while because we only just got rid of all the snow!

    1. Aww, thank you! When I first started blogging I was using an iPhone 6 to take pictures, then I upgraded to my current dslr. I do like the dslr, but the I’ve found that the iPhone 8’s take great pictures, and you can get a lot of the same shots as the dslr. If you’re looking to do video, one thing I don’t like about my current camera is that it doesn’t have a mic jack. So in conclusion I’d say that if you’re looking to do professional photography and video than get a dslr with a mic jack. If you’re just taking pictures for your blog (especially if you’re just starting out) than I think an iPhone will work fine. I hope that was helpful šŸ™‚

    1. I took some cute photos yesterday with my phone, I never actually realized how much inspiration could be in your own back yard! [Seriously, I took them in my bedroom, and in my backyard.] Thanks for the inspiration! That will probably be one of my next posts!

    2. Hey Hailey, no, that’s fine. šŸ™‚
      Here are some tips:
      1) Have a set audience that you are writing for (mine is teen girls and women 13-21), remember, if you are writing to everyone you are writing to noone.

      2) Have a simple, clean blog design.

      3) Keep your posts consistent and all around the same topic.

      And like you said, growing a blog takes time.

      I also recorded an entire podcast on starting and growing a blog, so make sure to check that out!
