Guys, it’s (almost) 2019

Here we are again. Tomorrow, is 2019. And here I am again, same desk chair, same computer, same keyboard, but a different person. An older, smarter, sillier, better version of the person I used to be last year.

A lot happened this year – things that I would never have dreamed would ever happen. Things that I’m so happy did happen. Things I’m frustrated that didn’t happen.

Yet here I am – a different person, but also still the same person.

Here are some things that happened in 2018:

  • I started my business The Striped Plaid Co.
  • I got so much better at using my dslr camera.
  • We celebrated two years of Crafts of all Seasons.
  • I started an email list.
  • I started wearing friendship bracelets all the time again.
  • I learned a lot – not just practical things, but also some other important things about life and such.
  • I documented each month in a monthly wrap-up post here on Crafts of all Seasons.
  • I redesigned my blog too many times to count.
  • I baked a lot.
  • I took so many product photos that I thought my head was going to blow off. XD
  • I made a point to start exercising more this year and I mostly stuck to it. I started exercising last January, then quit in April, didn’t do much over the summer, then started back up again in September, and have been doing it pretty consistently ever since.

Here are the things that I intended to do this last as per my 2017 post last year:

  • Start The Striped Plaid.
  • Gain 250 followers. I think this happened long ago.
  • Write in my bullet journal every day. Nope.
  • Be more organized. YES, especially these past few months.
  • Keep my room / craft area clean. Mostly.
  • Drink my water. Ummm…
  • Exercise more. YES, thank goodness!
  • Go outside every day. (I think so)
  • Work my hardest at school. Mostly.

I actually did better than I thought I would. 😛

A few posts ago I mentioned that I’d share my goals for 2019 with you, and so here we are. Also some aren’t super specific, because they are a surprise. 😉

Goals For 2019:

  1. Release 6 New Collections Throughout The Year (Home Decor Shop)
  2. Start ——-  in beginning of 3rd quarter.
  3. Start lifestyle vlogging over the summer and continue lifestyle blogging.
  4. Spread myself across more platforms (YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, WordPress, Etsy)
  5. (giving goals)
  6. Write Free Blogging How-To E-book in 1st quarter.
  7. Start —————– in beginning of 2nd quarter.
  8. Do at least one *me* thing every day.
  9. And there is another thing that I might start this year, but I’m not completely sure if I’ll have time. If I don’t end up having enough time, then I’ll do it in 2020. 😉

1st quarter goals:

  • Upgrade to Personal blog plan.
  • Launch 2 collections & 100 products total.
  • Start using Pinterest.
  • Get 100 sales.
  • Upgrade to Etsy Plus.
  • Create & list at least 3 products per week. (not including collections)
  • Write a free blogging e-book.

January Goals:

  • Release new collection on the 14th.
  • Consistently add 3+ listings per week.
  • Get 15 sales.
  • Blog twice a week.
  • Start using Pinterest.
  • Grow Email List as much as possible.
  • Upgrade to Etsy Plus.
  • Learn how to do my nails better. (guys, I’m really not that great)

I hope you guys have had a wonderful year – and here’s to another great one!

Happy 2019 guys!
