I’ve been working sooo hard on this and am so excited to finally be announcing it!

-The Shop-

I’m so excited to be selling unique home decorations, especially wall art! I’ve always really enjoyed decorating spaces, to make them unique and more importantly to inspire the people who live in those spaces. I love the idea of creating custom pieces that really speak to my customers!

-My Mission-

Looking for unique home decor items and accents? Look no further! Here at The Striped Plaid and Co. I offer exclusive and unique home decor accents, digital download prints, and more! I am committed to bringing our customers unique and inspiring items that bring joy and inspiration to their home and their lives! We want you to find something special that brings you joy and that you can bring home and take that joy into your daily lives! If you have something special in mind and we don’t have it currently listed, then please contact us and we will be happy to accommodate you!

-Behind the Name-

My sister actually thought of it in the June 2017 and I thought, “Wow, what a neat shop name that would be.” After more than a year of planning and brainstorming, I think I’ve finally found what I’d like for a shop! I hope that eventually I will have my own website for it and that I will someday be able to also start a fashion design brand with the same name! 

-Why Etsy-

Currently, I’m using Etsy as my hosting platform for my shop, but eventually I hope to create a website and make it more a professional business, but for now, I only have so much time and Etsy seemed like a good option!

-The Giveaway-

  As part of the celebration for my new business, I’m hosting a giveaway for any one item from my shop free! Scroll down to see the details! 😀

    1. Hi Autumn. Sure I’d love to give you some tips! But first I have a quick question. Did you by any chance update your Etsy account email to: darnellovescody@yahoo.com. Possibly? The reason I ask is because a Etsy user Andrea Vinyard contacted me earlier today with this message:
      Hi Hannah,
      I received some emails that must have gone to the wrong address– they were messages from you but intended for a customer named Autumn re: a custom gift for her mom? At first I thought maybe it was a spam thing so I ignored them, but it seems like maybe it is just a crossed wire somewhere so I wanted to let you know! Maybe her email address associated with her etsy account is similar to mine or she keyed it in wrong. Hopefully you have another way of getting a hold of her! I got an email that she had ordered from your shop at 11/17 in the AM. Then immediately after that I got an email from Etsy regarding an email change: it says:
      Hi Autumn,
      We received a request to change the email address for Autumn to
      darnellovescody@yahoo.com.
      We’ve sent an email to that address with instructions for confirming the change.
      If you didn’t make this change, contact Etsy Support and we’ll look into it for you.

      I didn’t do anything because when I logged into my own account (my email address is totally different and unrelated to that yahoo address above!) everything seemed normal with no orders or messages to you and I didn’t seem like I was hacked or anything. If you think I should contact Etsy, or if you want to contact them, that’s fine. Maybe at some point her email was similar to mine, who knows.

      I’m thinking that you must have just entered in a new email address for your Etsy account, and accidentally entered her’s instead of yours.
