Wrapping Up June!

Hello friends! June has literally just flown by, I mean I can’t believe it’s almost July! Where has summer gone? Ahem, today (it is the 29th of June after all) I thought it would only be appropriate to wrap up June with some favorites, photos, updates and more!

-What I Intended To Do This Month-

I will be writing in red if I failed, and green if I succeeded!

  • No Snacks. (mostly)
  • Go Swimming a lot.
  • Finish Math. (groans)
  • Read 7 books. (I think so at least) XD
  • Get to at least chapter 8 on my novel. (UGH, I’m on Chapter 6)
  • Visit my friends more. (YAY YAY YAY)
  • Post a few DIY’s. (I posted 2)
  • Host a Giveaway!
  • Reach 400 followers.

Well, well, I only didn’t do two…..

-What I Did Do This Month-

Let’s be optimistic, shall we? 😛

  • Went hiking on a 90 degrees day. (don’t ask)
  • Got back to exercising.
  • Did a bible devotional thing.
  • Made a lot of art.
  • Followed a blogging schedule.
  • Took a lot of gorgeous pictures!
  • Watched it rain a lot.
  • Got light blue bands on my braces.
  • Re-designed my blog. (sort of)

That’s really all I can think of. XD

-Creations/Art-

I didn’t make a ton of art this month, but I made a few ATC’s and some various stuff as well.

I did this with washi tape. It was actually pretty easy, maybe I’ll do a tutorial sometime.

Tuesday July 31: Birthday Post.

All titles subject to change. Also, you may have noticed that I did change around the schedule a tad, but it’s still mostly the same! 😉

Goals:

  • Write 5000 words on my novel. {This doesn’t seem like a lot I know, I am at camp most of July though} (I recently noticed that I’m not giving enough detail in my writing, so I’m just finishing the draft then doing a major edit.) 😛
  • Actually sleep in a sleeping bag, on the ground. XD
  • Celebrate my 13th birthday.
  • Save up money again.
  • Exercise most every day.
  • Work on my Proverbs challenge.*
  • Schedule every blog post.
  • Read 10 books.
  • Only have 1 afternoon snack 3 times a week.

Most of those are pretty easy or not.

Proverbs Challenge:

So I mentioned this above, and I think it will be a fun and good challenge! In the month of July I’m going to try to read one chapter of Proverbs every day. I keep telling myself that I have absolutely no excuses not too. Even though I going to be staying at different places, I can still bring my bible, listen on my app, or read on my app. No excuses. XD

Well, that’s my month in 700 words! Also, these monthly wrap-up posts seem really popular around here, so I’ve changed the formatting to (hopefully) make them a little better quality, and I’d like to know what you think. Do you enjoy monthly wrap-ups?

Also, this is just a little heads up, but I may or may not be super active this month due to going camping, and many camps and activities. Most of them are not sleepaway, but I’ll probably be very tired and low-motivated after getting home, so I’m trying to schedule most posts (if I can) just to be sure I’ll get them out on time. I will still be commenting, reading and posting, so I’m not going on hiatus or anything. 🙂

Have a wonderful weekend!

  1. Loved reading your wrap up post, Hannah! Those pictures are beautiful! What kind of camera did you take them with? Also, where did you take those waterfall pictures? That is a neat waterfall. 🙂
And yes! I’d love to see the washi tape tutorial. I’m going to go find all your tutorials and see if I can try any of them out. Just recently I’ve gotten into watercolor painting and love it! But since I’m not the best drawer, I have trouble figuring out what to paint.
    Well, have a lovely day!

    Love,

    1. Aww, I’m so glad you enjoyed it! I’m sorry, but I can’t say exactly where I took the waterfall pictures. I use a Canon Rebel T6!

    2. That’s okay! I was just wondering if it’s in a park or off the road.
Cool! I want a canon rebel T6. Do you have a couple different lens? They seem to take amazing pictures!
