Ahh! I’m so excited for this post! It is finally time for Springing Into Life Photography Challenge! It’s taking me a few weeks to prepare, but all the effort has been worth it!!!! Now with out further ado, I present Springing Into Life Photography Challenge!

NOTE: Throughout this post I will be using SIL as an abbreviation for Springing Into Life.

What is it SIL? 

SIL (Springing Into Life) Photography Challenge is a spring photography contest/challenge created by me, where contestants are sorted into teams, given a category, and then they take pictures based on the category. There also will be a bonus challenge for each category. Of course there are more rules and such, but this is the basics of it! 🙂

Rules:

  • You must have a camera of some sort. (an I-phone is fine)
  • You must be 18 or under.
  • You must have internet access. (if you are reading this then you probably do) XD

How does this work?

On April 18 I will post the first category and who got into which team. Then you will have a week to find/take your pictures and send them in. (actually you will be using a survey, but I’ll go into further detail when that time comes) Ever Thursday I will post a new category. There will be 5 categories. Also, there aren’t any prizes or anything, this is all just for fun! 🙂

Scoring the photos:

The photos will be judged on: creativity, how well you used the category, and quality.

Extra Challenges:

I have decided to add a little extra optional challenge for each category. If you do this challenge you will earn 5 bonus points for your team. The challenges will all be themed with the category. Here is an example, so let’s say the category was clovers, maybe the challenge would be a 4-leaf clover. (I don’t think this will be an actual category)

Next week when I post the first category I will have made a survey (idea credit to Megan) that you will fill out and enter your photo through. More details in the next post 🙂
