Hello everyone! Today I want to share some of my thoughts on Thanksgiving, and on the importance of being thankful. Everyone always has something to be thankful about!
So let me begin by first asking what are you doing today? Maybe you are watching a football game, watching the Macy’s day parade, enjoying a day to play video games, eating a huge dinner with your grandma.
Whatever you are doing today there is something to be thankful about! In fact there is always something to be thankful about. Maybe your favorite football team won, maybe you are enjoying some pumpkin pie. Who knows?
What I am saying is that no matter where you are or what you are doing today you can be thankful!
Perhaps you are wondering, “Why Thanksgiving? Is this the only day I have to be grateful?”
Nope, sorry (or maybe not sorry) folks today is not the only day you have to be thankful. Instead today is the day that we celebrate being thankful. We should be as thankful today as we are any day of the year, but today we are celebrating. We are celebrating the gift of Thankfulness!
“So what exactly is the gift of thankfulness, anyway?” you ask. The gift of Thankfulness is the gift of being grateful when your mom makes lunch, or when you receive a birthday gift.
You can be thankful for everything, not just the good things, but the bad things too. You can be grateful for pumpkin pie, for the fact that maybe it is cold out today.
Here 15 things that I am thankful for:
- My warm sweatshirt
- Peppermint tea
- The rain drumming on the roof
- Every single person who follows this blog
- For my almighty Lord, God and Savior, Jesus Christ
- My warm home
- Cinnamon Rolls
- For this blog and all the people who are reading this
- For my dear family
- For this computer
- Every good book I have read
- My new bullet journal
- My American Girl dolls
- For my wonderful piano teacher and all that she has taught me
- For freedom and to live in this wonderful country that we call America
I could keep this list going and going and going but that might bore you out after a while.
What are you thankful for?
Who is someone who has made a difference in you life?

This is great, Hannah! I love how you told why we should celebrate Thanksgiving and what Thanksgiving is about. ❤ Also, HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't know why, but all of these amazing bloggers have made a difference in my life! You really helped me by being creative because I wasn't really creative until I saw your blog. I was just stuck to the computer all of the time. What are you going to do for Thanksgiving?
Have a great Thanksgiving!
