Hello everyone! Welcome back to another Paint and Pens episode today we will be makinga fall hand scrub! It makes your skin so very nice and soft!
(Note: I got this idea from Kaitlyn when she did this post)
Here are the things that you need for an 8 oz. container!
1 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup coconut oil (it is OK if the coconut oil is not a complete liquid, just make sure it isn’t rock hard)
2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice*
2 tsp. vanilla extract
Put all of the ingredients in a bowl
Mix with a spoon and then your hands (I find that using my hands helps get everything mixed around nicely!)
And just spoon everything into your container/jar!
That was it! Hope your hands are nice and soft this fall/winter! 🙂
*DIY pumpkin pie spice! So if you are like me and don’t have pumpkin pie spice, here is an easy DIY version!
- 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon ground ginger
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cloves
- 1 teaspoon ground allspice
- 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Just mix those ingredients together and measure out what you need!
Thanks for reading I hope you enjoyed 🙂
Also, happy Columbus Day (if you live in North America)
This is really cool! I actually made my own scrub to post on my blog too! Happy Columbus day to you! Have a great day!

Everything is actually OK to eat, but I don’t think that it would taste so good 🙂
